Meet my Bunny Babies!

Alfie (left) and Tigerlily (right), my two bunny babies! :)

Tigerlily is a 2-year-old Mini Lop who likes nothing more than sleeping on her back with her arms and legs up in the air, looking like she might have died a death (really worrying Ollie and I in the process). She also loves it when we use the hoover and is always running around, trying to help us when it's time to clean her cage. She likes coriander, sunbathing, slices of banana and digging. She doesn't, however, enjoy being bathed.

Alfie is a 1-year-old Lion Head. When he was a baby, he used to sit on my shoulder like a parrot and kiss my nose. He absolutely hates going to the vets and sometimes manages to do some kick-ass show jumping around the examination room (I'm a proud mama). His favourite treats to eat are lettuce, celery and carrots. He loves snuggling up beside Tigerlily and sometimes goes to sleep with his toes all pointed out, looking like a ballerina.

A Very Special Gift

On Friday, Ollie and I received this beautiful Emma Bridgewater teapot from his mum and step-dad to congratulate us on our Engagement. As you can see from the photos, it has both of our names painted on it as well as the date we got engaged: christmas eve! I'm so tempted to use it but I kinda want to keep it as more of an ornament/keepsake because it's so beautiful. I love it so much! It's such a thoughtful gift and something that we can keep and treasure forever :)

Seche Vite: Fast Dry Top Coat Review

I'm so impatient when it comes to waiting for my nails to dry. I always end up forgetting about them and get massive smudges everywhere, which just isn't a good look. So, I decided to look online for a fast drying top coat that would speed up the process. The one that kept popping up was Seche Vite Fast Drying Top Coat. I read a few reviews and it sounded amazing so I quickly proceeded to checkout and ordered it, for just £6.96 from Amazon (prices differ elsewhere but that was the cheapest I could find it).

When it arrived, I was shocked to find a warning on the back of the bottle. It reads "WARNING! This product contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm."AHHH! Alarm bells ringing, I immediately went back online and started researching the warning. After sifting through a few different pages, I found that as long as you use the product as intended, it is as harmless as other nail varnishes. Although, you definitely shouldn't use it if you're pregnant or trying to conceive.

Once I knew that it was safe for me to use, I went ahead and tried it out. I was so impressed! You just paint your nails as you normally would, wait a few seconds, then paint on the top coat. They're touch-dry within minutes. 10 minutes in total and they're dry enough for me to get on with my day. It gives my nails such a glossy, high-shine finish. I love it! :)

After a day or so, I find that my nail varnish sometimes has little cracks down the sides. A bit disappointing, but I still feel like the glossy gel-like finish is enough for me to give this a high rating. Not to mention the time you would save if you were rushing to get ready for a night out! I'd recommend it to anyone who is as impatient as me when it comes to painting your nails.
